The Cardo ACC00010 second helmet kit (Packtalk 2nd helmet kit with Sound by JBL) allows you to use your Cardo Packtalk intercom on a second helmet as well. As stated by Cardo, it contains 40 mm Sound by JBL speakers, interchangeable boom and wired microphones, and both clamp or adhesive plate mounting options. You mount the kit on your second helmet and simply move the main unit.

Which intercoms is it compatible with?
Cardo presents this as a Packtalk second helmet kit with Sound by JBL and states it is not compatible with Packtalk Slim and Packtalk Edge. For Packtalk Pro and Edge, the ACC00011 kit with Air Mount is available. If you are not sure about your model, contact us for more information by providing the unit's model code.
What's in the box?
Cardo includes 40 mm Sound by JBL speakers, interchangeable boom and wired microphones, and both clamp or adhesive plate mounting options. The official photos also show the cradle to which the unit attaches. The intercom is not included: you use the one you already have.
Why are there two microphones?
Cardo provides interchangeable boom and wired microphones so you can install the one best suited to the shape of your second helmet. The boom microphone places the capsule in front of the mouth even in open-face helmets. If you are not sure which one to choose for your helmet, contact us for more information by providing the make and model.
How is it mounted on the second helmet?
The cradle is attached to the helmet using either the clamp or the adhesive plate, depending on the shell. Then, the speakers are placed in the ear pockets and the chosen microphone is connected. From that moment on, the unit can be moved from one helmet to the other. If you have any doubts about your helmet, contact us for more information.
Is it suitable for the Packtalk Edge?
No. Cardo expressly states that this kit is not compatible with Packtalk Slim and Packtalk Edge. For the Packtalk Edge and Packtalk Pro, the second helmet kit with Sound by JBL is the ACC00011, which features the magnetic Air Mount. If in doubt, send us the model of your intercom before ordering.
