They are a 2-into-1 stainless steel manifold in a de-cat configuration: they eliminate the catalytic element and free up the exhaust flow. Arrow officially calls them Racing Collector. Mounting and combinations
Official Arrow instructions provide for removing the original silencer, unscrewing both oxygen sensors, removing the four nuts from the cylinder studs, and taking off the stock headers. The Arrow headers are fitted onto the studs, the 2:1 manifold is attached with the two supplied springs, the lambda sensors are re-screwed, and the cables are repositioned with the cable ties provided in the kit.
From here on, there are two paths, both documented by Arrow: reinstall the original silencer and tighten the clamp, or install the 71729MI central link pipe and an Arrow 71915 silencer, using the support bracket and rubber provided in the kit.
