The Kappa KR2129 rear rack is a specific top case rack that allows you to mount a MONOKEY® or MONOLOCK® top case on the Yamaha MT-10 and MT-10 SP (2016-2021). It must be combined with the corresponding plate, to be purchased separately. Original Kappa spare part (Givi S.p.A. group), equivalent to the Givi SR2129. Out of production: no longer reorderable, only one piece left in stock.

Designed for those who use the MT-10 beyond weekends and want to attach a top case without drastically altering the bike. The specific Kappa fitting attaches to the manufacturer's designated points and distributes the weight onto the rear subframe; once the top case is removed, only the two side brackets remain.

Is it still available?
The KR2129 is out of production and can no longer be ordered from Kappa: we are selling the last piece remaining in stock.
Do I also need to buy the plate?
Yes. The fitting itself consists of two side brackets: the plate connects them and receives the top case. Choose a Monokey plate (KM5, KM7, KM8A, KM8B, KM9A, KM9B) or Monolock plate (KM5M, KM6M).
Is it suitable for the MT-10 SP?
Yes. The Kappa catalog covers the Yamaha MT-10 from 2016 to 2021 and the MT-10 SP from 2017 to 2021.
Can I mount a Monolock top case on it?
Yes, by combining it with a Monolock KM5M or KM6M plate. With Monokey plates, you can mount larger volume top cases, up to a total of 6 kg.
Can I use a Givi top case?
Yes: Kappa and Givi share the Monokey and Monolock systems, so plates and top cases from both brands are interchangeable. The KR2129 corresponds to the Givi SR2129.
What if my MT-10 is from 2022 or later?
It is not compatible: from 2022, the MT-10 has a different subframe and requires the Kappa KR2163 fitting.
