The Kappa K628 plate is the universal nylon plate for top cases with the MONOLOCK® system: it attaches to the tubular rack of motorcycles and scooters and allows you to attach and detach the top case in seconds. It comes complete with a mounting kit and Z114K plate cover. Original Kappa spare part (Givi S.p.A. group).

Is the top case included?
No. The package only contains the K628 plate with the mounting kit and the Z114K plate cover. The top case must be purchased separately.
I bought a new Monolock top case: do I need the K628?
Probably not. Kappa Monolock top cases (K30N, K26N, K47N, K3000N etc.) already include this plate. The K628 is purchased as an additional or replacement plate, or to mount the same top case on a second vehicle.
Is it suitable for Monokey top cases?
No. The K628 is only for the MONOLOCK® system. MONOKEY® top cases use dedicated plates (e.g., KM5 or KM8B).
Is it compatible with Givi top cases?
Yes. Kappa and Givi share the MONOLOCK® system: the K628 works with Monolock top cases from both brands.
Is anything else needed for mounting?
No: screws and U-bolts are already included. However, a tubular rack already present on the vehicle is required.
