Does the K26N include the mounting plate?
Yes, it comes with the universal K628 plate, the plate cover, and the screws. The plate mounts on a standard flat luggage rack; for vehicles without a luggage rack, a specific Kappa rear rack (KR series) is needed: we can tell you the correct one for your model.

Is the K26N top case waterproof?
Yes, the K26N is water resistant with Kappa certified sealing: it protects the contents from normal road rain. It is not immersion-proof, so in case of very intense or prolonged rain, it is advisable to protect more delicate items with an internal bag.

Can I detach the top case and take it with me?
Yes. Thanks to the Monolock® system, the K26N detaches from the plate with the key in a single motion, without tools. You can therefore quickly remove it when parking and take it with you, leaving only the plate mounted on the vehicle.
