Cardo Spirit HD Duo Motorcycle Bluetooth Intercom Pair – 600m, 40mm HD, FM – SPRT0102

The Cardo Spirit HD Duo is the dual pack of the best-sounding model in Cardo’s entry-level range: two units factory-paired, 40 mm HD speakers, built-in FM radio, and intercom range of up to 600 meters. It is the ready-to-use kit for rider and passenger or for two motorcycles: open the box, mount the two kits on your helmets, and you are ready to talk — no pairing procedure required. Official code SPRT0102.

✓ Highlights

• Two units factory-paired – this is the true advantage of the DUO pack: no initial pairing, you’re ready to go immediately.
• 40 mm HD speakers – a difference you notice right away compared to the 32 mm speakers on the "base" Spirit: music and voice remain clear even on the highway.
• Built-in FM radio – listen to the radio without using your phone's data or needing to take it out of your pocket.
• Intercom up to 600 m between the two riders: 200 meters more than the Spirit, which is noticeable on the open road.
• 13 hours of talk time per unit – plenty for a full day of travel without searching for a power outlet.
• Fast charging – 20 minutes of charging gives you 2 hours of battery life; full charge in 2 hours, also possible while riding.
• IP65 certified – resistant to rain and dust, it can be left on the helmet year-round.
• Over-the-air software updates with the free Cardo Connect app: no cables needed.
• 2-year warranty, on both units.

Spirit HD Duo or Spirit Duo?

Not sure which kit is right for you? Contact us: with two questions, we can determine if the sound quality, range, and FM radio differences are worth the extra cost for your needs.

Compatibility

The Cardo Spirit HD Duo is a universal accessory: it is not tied to a specific motorcycle or scooter model, but mounts to the helmet. Both kits are designed for full-face, modular, open-face, and off-road helmets. The intercom works between rider and passenger and between two motorcycles, and according to specialized retailers, it also communicates with Bluetooth devices from other brands.

Who it is perfect for

It is the kit for those who always travel in pairs and really listen to music on their bike: the 40 mm speakers change how a helmet sounds at 130 km/h, and the FM radio is the convenience missing from all lower-tier intercoms. The two units arrive already paired to each other, so the first ride doesn't turn into half an hour of configuration. Thirteen hours of battery life covers a real trip, and the 600-meter range prevents losing connection at every overtake or hairpin turn. However, if you only need the intercom for commuting and talking to your passenger in the city, the Spirit Duo does the same job and costs less. If you already have one Spirit HD unit and need a second one, the Single SPRT0002 is the right choice: contact us for more information and we will tell you which is best.

Frequently asked questions

Are the two units already paired to each other?
Yes. The DUO pack arrives with the two units already factory-paired: mount them on your helmets, turn them on, and the intercom works. This is the main reason it is better than two single packs, in addition to the price. The Cardo Connect app is still necessary to configure other features and for updates.

What really changes between Spirit HD Duo and Spirit Duo?
Four things, all declared by Cardo: 40 mm HD speakers instead of 32 mm, built-in FM radio (which the Spirit Duo lacks), 600 meters of range instead of 400, and 13 hours of battery life instead of 10. The number of connectable riders, IP65 certification, app, and warranty are identical.

Does the FM radio work without a phone?
Yes. The FM radio is built into each unit: tune into stations and listen without connecting your smartphone and without using data. This is one of the more concrete differences compared to the Spirit, which does not have a radio. The phone can still be connected via Bluetooth for calls, music, and navigation.

Can it be used in the rain?
Yes. The Cardo Spirit HD is IP65 certified, meaning it is protected against dust and water jets. It is designed to stay on the helmet all year round. However, it is not designed for submersion: avoid soaking it and dry it off before charging.

Can I connect more than two people?
No: the Spirit HD connects up to 2 riders and is a two-way Bluetooth intercom, without mesh mode. It is perfect for rider and passenger or for two motorcycles traveling together. For larger groups, you need Cardo’s higher ranges: contact us for more information and we will point you to the right model.
