How warm are Macna Ion heated gloves?
With the battery fully charged at the maximum level, Ion gloves reach and maintain 40-45 °C on the palm and fingers, with a battery life of about 2-3 hours. At the medium level, battery life increases to 4-5 hours. The warmth makes a difference below 5 °C, when normal thermal gloves begin to be insufficient.
Is Raintex as waterproof as Gore-Tex?
Yes, for most uses. Raintex is Macna's proprietary membrane with characteristics similar to standard Gore-Tex: waterproof and breathable, suitable for moderate to heavy rain. Laminated Gore-Tex Pro remains the benchmark for extreme uses (long trips in areas with continuous rain).
How does the Night Eye system work?
Night Eye is a Macna technology that integrates high-refraction reflective fabrics in strategic points of the jacket (back, shoulders, forearms). During the day, the jacket appears black or dark; at night, car headlights reflect and illuminate the motorcyclist from a distance. It increases visibility without compromising aesthetics.
