The Kappa RP3101K Skid Plate is the specific protection made of anodized satin aluminum for the Suzuki DL 650 V-Strom, in the L2-L3-L4-L5-L6 (2011-2016) and 2017-2024 series. It defends the oil pan and lower crankcase from stones, gravel, and debris, both on dirt roads and damaged asphalt. Original Kappa Moto (GIVI group) accessory.

Who is it perfect for?
Practically mandatory on a V-Strom 650 used for touring or on gravel roads. The oil pan is exposed to stones thrown up by the front wheel: a sharp blow can mean oil on the asphalt and an engine that needs to be opened. The skid plate costs a fraction of that damage and is barely noticeable until it's needed.
