What does "Class AA" mean and how does it differ from reinforced jeans?
Class AA is the second highest level of the European standard EN 17092 for protective motorcycle clothing: only AAA for race suits is above it, while A, B, and C are below. On this model, Macna declares a single-layer Cordura® denim, with the fibers woven together with the denim in a single layer instead of being added as patches only in critical areas.

Are the protectors included in the price?
Yes, all of them. The knee protectors are CE level 1 certified RISC™ and are height adjustable; the hip protectors are flexible RISC™ FX, also CE level 1. There is nothing to buy separately.

What is the Backonnect system?
Backonnect is the connection system at the back of the waist, which Macna describes as a zipper. It is used to attach the jeans to a jacket with the same pre-installation: Macna presents it as a system to prevent the jacket from riding up while riding and, especially, in case of an accident.

What size should I get?
Sizes follow denim numbering, which does not correspond to body waist measurements: measure yourself and compare with the table above, reported in centimeters and inches, and if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. "Short" sizes have a shortened inseam of 71 cm (28.0 in) instead of 76 cm (29.9 in).
