Compatibility
A helmet does not depend on the motorcycle or scooter model: the 12.5 is suitable for any vehicle. It is a jet helmet designed primarily for city use and for scooters.
Who it's perfect for
It is for those who use a scooter or motorcycle in the city every day and want a jet helmet with a sun visor and a Pinlock-ready visor, in glossy white. Sizes range from XS 54 to XL 61. Those who often travel outside the city are better protected with a full-face or modular helmet.

Frequently asked questions
What homologation does it have?
The 12.5 Solid Color is ECE 22.06 homologated as a jet helmet, as stated in the Givi catalog. It protects the head and ear area but leaves the chin area free, so it is designed for the city and daily scooter commutes. For long trips, it is advisable to consider a full-face or modular helmet.
Does it have a sun visor?
Yes. The 12.5 has an internal 75% smoked scratch-resistant sun visor that lowers when the sun is strong, while the outer visor remains clear. In low light and at night, the sun visor is kept raised. If it gets damaged, the Givi replacement part on the price list is code Z2689FR, 75% smoked internal sun visor.
What size should I choose?
The 12.5 exists in five sizes: XS 54 cm, S 56, M 58, L 60, and XL 61. Measure your head circumference with a tailor's tape measure, one finger above your eyebrows, and choose the closest size. If you are between two sizes, write to us with your circumference, and we will help you before ordering.
Can a Pinlock lens be fitted?
Yes. The clear visor of the 12.5 is ready for the anti-fog Pinlock lens, which, however, is not included in the package. The Givi code to order is Z2560R, Pinlock 70 DKS008. It mounts inside the visor and reduces fogging on cold or rainy days.
Can a dark visor be fitted?
Yes. The helmet comes with a scratch-resistant clear visor, and Givi lists for the 12.5 a 75% smoked visor Z2690FR and silver, blue, green, yellow, red, and iridium mirror visors. Dark visors are for strong sun: in low light and at night, the clear one must be used.
Are spare parts available?
Yes, the 12.5 is in the 2026 Givi catalog with its spare parts: clear visor Z2690TR, smoked sun visor Z2689FR, visor mechanism kit Z2692R, side plates Z2693, air intake sliders Z2691, and complete interiors Z2688 from size 54 to 61. Before ordering, we will verify the correct code with you.
