Do I need a cross mask if I already have a helmet visor?
For cross helmets, yes, always: the mask covers the space left open by the pronounced chin bar and protects eyes and nose from mud, stones, and insects at low speeds. For full-face helmets, no, it's not needed: the full visor serves the same function and is more practical for road use.
Are polarized lenses good for motorcycling?
Yes, they reduce reflections from wet asphalt and the windshields of cars in front, improving contrast perception. However, they are not recommended with LCD instrument panels: polarization can cause dark areas to appear on the display, making it difficult to read speed and engine RPM.
