Frequently Asked Questions

Can it be used without the peak?
Yes. Airoh presents it as a helmet with two configurations: with the peak for adventure use and without the peak for the road. The box includes caps that cover the attachments when the peak is removed, so no separate spare parts are needed to switch between versions.

What is its homologation?
The Bandit Airspeed is ECE 22.06 homologated, as stated by Airoh in the model's technical sheet. The homologation code and number can be found on the chin strap label, which secures with an adjustable micrometric buckle, easy to fasten even with gloves on.

What's in the box?
In addition to the helmet with the peak, you will find the Pinlock 70 MaxVision lens to be installed on the visor for anti-fog protection, the dual chin curtain for the chin guard (one summer and one winter), and the caps for the version without the peak. Airoh intercoms are sold separately.

How much does it weigh and what is it made of?
The shell is made of HRT thermoplastic and is produced in two outer sizes: the first for XS, S, and M, the second for L, XL, XXL, and XXXL. The weight declared by Airoh starts at 1,660 grams, with a tolerance of ±50 g, depending on the size.

What size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference one centimeter above your eyebrows. In the Airoh guide for this model, XS is 53-54 cm, S 55-56, M 57-58, L 59-60, XL 61-62, XXL 63 cm, and XXXL 64 cm. In this listing, you will find all seven sizes.

Can an intercom be installed?
Yes. The helmet is prepared for the Airoh AWC4 and AWC2 intercoms, which are sold separately and not included in the box. The liners are made of technical fabrics, removable, washable, and hypoallergenic, allowing you to remove them for washing and reinsert them without the need for tools.

Who is it perfect for?

The Bandit is designed for those who travel by motorcycle and want a single helmet for the road and mixed routes: with the peak for adventure use, without the peak for the road, with the Pinlock already included and preparation for an intercom. The Matte Sand Airspeed graphic features a matte sand, grey, and black colorway.
