Si usa con gli occhiali o con la maschera?

Sì: il TRR S Town è un casco jet da trial senza visiera, con frontino regolabile e ampia apertura frontale, quindi si guida con occhiali da moto o con una maschera, che non sono inclusi. È pensato per il trial e il fuoristrada leggero, ma con l'omologazione ECE 22.05 si usa anche su strada, in città.

Quanto pesa e com'è fatta la calotta?

Il TRR S pesa circa 850 g ±50 g, dato riportato in modo concorde dalle schede di vendita del modello. La calotta è in composito HPC, la fibra composita ad alte prestazioni usata da Airoh, ed è prodotta in due misure diverse per proporzionare il casco alle taglie piccole e a quelle grandi.

Perché costa così poco?

Perché il TRR S è fuori produzione: il casco non è più in vendita sul sito Airoh, dove restano solo i ricambi, e l'ultimo pezzo nella grafica Town nero opaco e bianco, taglia L, è in smaltimento molto sotto il listino di 290,00 €. Il casco è nuovo e originale Airoh, prodotto in Italia, e parte dall'Italia con fattura.

Si trovano ancora i ricambi?

Sì, Airoh tiene a catalogo i ricambi del TRR S: frontino Town opaco e lucido (2088TW), kit viti del frontino (6323), guanciali (5179TRR18N0L) e cuffia (5078TRR18N0L) in taglia L e le coperture TRR S Covers (15COPF010). Così il casco resta utilizzabile a lungo, anche dopo una caduta che rovina il frontino.

Com'è la chiusura e cosa c'è nella confezione?

La chiusura è micrometrica a cricchetto, con anello antifurto per assicurare il casco alla moto, e si regola a scatti sulla misura del collo. Nella confezione ci sono la borsa porta casco e le coperture per le prese d'aria superiori, da montare con pioggia o freddo. La fodera è ipoallergenica, removibile e lavabile.

Misura la circonferenza della testa con un metro da sarto appena sopra le sopracciglia, nel punto più largo. Questa inserzione è la taglia L, per 59-60 cm, secondo la scala taglie generale Airoh. Se la tua misura cade fuori da questo intervallo, il casco non è adatto: meglio sceglierne uno nella taglia giusta.
