Frequently asked questions
Why is it so cheap?
Because the X.08 X-Modular has been out of the Givi catalog for some time and only size M remains. The helmet is new and original, ECE 22.05 approved with P/J dual homologation, and ships from Italy with an invoice, at less than half of the 243-euro list price.
What does P/J dual homologation mean?
It means the helmet is approved both as a full-face helmet, with the chin guard closed, and as a jet helmet, with the chin guard raised. You can therefore ride legally in both positions. The chin guard opens with the center button at the bottom, which can be operated with one hand even while wearing gloves.
Which size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference with a tailor's tape measure, one finger above your eyebrows. The X.08 size M corresponds to 57 centimeters. Other sizes are not available. If you are between two sizes, write to us before ordering so we can tell you if the fit is right for you.
Is the Pinlock lens included?
No. The clear scratch-resistant visor is prepared for the Pinlock 70 anti-fog lens, which must be purchased separately: the Givi code is Z2261NR, Pinlock DKS002, still in the 2026 visor catalog. The box does include a nose guard and wind deflector, useful on cold days.
Does it have a sun visor?
Yes. The X.08 features a standard internal sun visor, which lowers when it's sunny and raises when not needed, without having to remove the helmet. The outer visor is clear and scratch-resistant and can be removed with the bayonet system, convenient for cleaning or replacement.
Are spare parts still available?
Yes. The helmet is discontinued, but the Givi 2026 price list still includes the clear visor Z858TPR, wind deflector Z862R, side discs and rings, inner liner Z863B57R and cheek pads Z877B57R for size M. We will verify the code with you before processing your order.
