Locks, Steering Locks, and Keys
Locks and keys include the ignition switch, steering lock, seat lock, and keyed fuel cap: a single kit if you want everything to match, separate spare parts if you only need one piece. Here you will find original Piaggio lock kits for Porter and scooters, and Kappa replacement keys for Monolock and Monokey motorcycle top cases and side cases.

Frequently asked questions
I lost the only key to my Kappa top case: what should I do?
A code (usually K followed by three digits) is stamped on the top case cylinder: tell us this code to order the exact key. If you cannot read it, the only alternative is to replace the complete lock along with new keys. The code is often visible by disassembling the bezel.
Does the Piaggio lock kit contain all identical keys?
Yes, the complete kit is designed precisely to unify the key system: the same key opens the ignition, steering lock, seat, and fuel cap. Two identical keys are provided. If you lose one, you can have a duplicate made from the remaining original at authorized spare parts dealers.
Can I install an aftermarket lock kit on my scooter?
Inexpensive universal kits exist, but we advise against them: generic cylinders have different tolerances than original ones, they jam more easily, and do not always fit into the frame housings. For vehicles under warranty, the original kit is also the only one that does not raise objections.
