The original Piaggio 152541 badge is the VESPA writing that goes on the front shield. It measures 120 × 20 mm, is fixed with two pins with a pitch of 80 mm, and is supplied with the fastening plates. It's the detail that gives the vintage Vespa its face and the first to get damaged over time. Product code 152541.
✓ Strengths
- It's the original catalog code – the same reference as the part fitted at the factory, not a reproduction.
- Fastening plates included – it comes complete, no need to retrieve old oxidized ones.
- 80 mm pitch, the important measurement – the holes on the shield are already there: it aligns perfectly the first time, without drilling.
- Changes the look of the scooter – on a restored Vespa, it's one of the few parts that are always visible, from any angle.
- Covers a large part of vintage Vespas – from the 50 Special to the PX 200, including ET3 and 125 TS.

For this code, the official Piaggio spare parts catalog does not publish a list of vehicles: the table is a reconstruction obtained by cross-referencing multiple independent spare parts catalogs, and only includes applications confirmed by at least two sources. If you have any doubts, measure the hole spacing on your shield or send us the frame number: we will check for you.
✓ Who it's perfect for
For those restoring a vintage Vespa and have noticed that the shield badge is faded, dented, or missing after a wash. It's one of those inexpensive parts that changes the scooter's appearance more than much costlier interventions: the shield is the first thing people look at. It's also useful for those who have just repainted the bodywork and don't want to reattach an old badge to new paint.
Original Piaggio spare part, new and never mounted. Moon Bike S.r.l. is based in Cercola (NA) and ships from Italy with invoice and manufacturer's warranty.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if this badge fits my Vespa?
The deciding measurement is the distance between the two holes on the shield: here it is 80 mm, with the badge being 120 mm long and 20 mm high. Measure the distance between the two holes on your shield with a tape measure: if it's 80 mm, this is the correct badge.
Are the fastening plates included?
Yes. The package contains the badge and the plates that secure it from the back of the shield. You don't need to retrieve old ones, which on a vintage Vespa are almost always oxidized and tend to break as soon as you try to remove them.
Is it the same badge as the hexagonal shield badge?
No, they are two different parts. This is the horizontal VESPA writing that goes on the front shield. The hexagonal shield with the Piaggio emblem, the horn badge, and the side cowl writings each have their own code and different measurements.
How is it installed?
The two pins of the badge are inserted into the holes on the shield, from the outside, and secured from the back with the plates. It is advisable to clean the holes of rust beforehand. No glue or silicone is needed: the plate provides the hold, and an adhesive would make it impossible to remove it in the future without damaging the paint.
Is it suitable for my 1990s PX?
The applications we can confirm for this code are the first series PX models – P125X, P150X, and P200E – as well as 50 Special, 125 ET3, and 125 TS. On later series, the badge may be different: before ordering, measure the hole spacing; it's the quickest and safest check.
Why is the table shorter than what I find elsewhere?
Because for this code, the official catalog does not publish the vehicle list, and we only include on the product sheet what is found in at least two independent spare parts catalogs. We prefer a shorter but verified table to a long and uncertain one: if your model is not listed, write to us and we will check it together.
