The Macna Livity in Black (code 165.4024.101) is a single-layer men's Cordura® denim motorcycle jean, with large Air Burst™ mesh panels on the legs and R.I.S.C.™ CE level 1 knee protectors already included. Homologation declared by Macna: EN 17092 Class A.

Macna presents it as Cordura® denim jeans: Cordura® fibers and denim are fully woven into a single layer. Aramid is present, but as a single-layer internal reinforcement in impact zones — it's the "Aramid single layer" entry in the technical sheet. The composition from the supplier's list is 45% cotton, 45% polyester, 8% Cordura, 2% elastane.
❓ Are the protectors included?
Yes, for the knees: R.I.S.C.™ CE level 1 certified protectors are included, and their position is height-adjustable. For the hips, there are dedicated pockets, but the protector is not included: Macna sells the R.I.S.C.™ H 01, also CE level 1, separately.
❓ What homologation do they have?
Macna declares EN 17092 Class A, with CE level 1 knee protection and CE level 1 hip protection.
❓ Are they ventilated?
Yes. There are large mesh panels in the upper leg area, the Air Burst™ differentiator: the open-weave construction allows air to pass through. The single-layer construction also ventilates more than jeans with a reinforced lining, and the lining is mesh. Macna declares them for hot weather.
❓ What does "Backonnect™ prepared" mean?
It means that the Backonnect™, Macna's short connecting zipper, can be installed on the jeans to attach them to a compatible jacket. The zipper is not included and is purchased separately.
❓ What is the difference between the regular and "Short" sizes?
Only the inseam length changes: Macna declares 81 cm for the regular inseam and 76 cm for the short one. The short sizes in the catalog are 32, 34, 36, and 38. ⚠️ For size 32, Macna does not publish the short inseam measurement.
