Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit the new Versys 650?
Yes. The Kappa catalog covers it in two blocks, 2015-2021 and 2022-2026, with the same rack and plates.
Is the plate included?
No, it must be purchased separately: Monokey KM5, KM7, KM8A, KM8B, KM9A, KM9B or Monolock KM5M, KM6M.
Why can't I mount the stop light kit with some plates?
KM8A, KM8B, KM9A, and KM9B are aluminum Trekker Racks: their structure does not allow the wiring of the light kit or the remote-controlled opening device to pass through.
Can I use a Givi top case?
Yes: Kappa and Givi share the Monokey and Monolock systems. The KR4114 corresponds to the Givi SR4114.
