The Kappa KM5M plate (internal code Z667MK) is the nylon attachment base for top cases with the MONOLOCK® system: it mounts on Kappa KZ monoracks and KR rear racks and allows the top case to be attached and detached in seconds. It is the MONOLOCK® version of the KM5 plate. Original Kappa (Givi S.p.A. group) replacement part.

The KM5M is the plate for MONOLOCK® top cases, the KM5 is the plate for MONOKEY® top cases. The motorcycle attachment is the same (KZ monorack or KR rear rack): only the top case attachment system changes. Choose based on the top case you own.
What does the KM5M mount on?
On Kappa KZ series monoracks and KR series rear racks. The Kappa catalog indicates that KR racks can be combined with either the MONOKEY® KM5 or KM7 plate, or the MONOLOCK® KM5M or KM6M plate.
Is the top case included?
No. The package contains only the KM5M plate. The Monolock top case must be purchased separately.
Is it compatible with Givi top cases?
