Second-generation Shoei helmets have a pre-arranged mounting area on the shell, but the right part is needed to use it. The Cardo Adapter for Shoei Helmets (code ACC00021) is that part: an adhesive adapter that fits into the helmet's designated slot, allowing you to attach the Cardo unit without clamps and without compromising the helmet's design.
⚠️ Three important things before ordering:
🔴 1. It is for SECOND generation Shoei helmets. Cardo specifies Neotec II, GT-Air II, and J-Cruise II. If you have a Neotec 3, GT-Air 3, or J-Cruise 3, you need the Gen 3 adapter, which has a different code: the shell's slot has changed. This is the most common purchase error for this item — contact us for more information and we'll verify your helmet's generation together.
🔴 2. It is only the mount. It does not contain an intercom, speakers, or microphone: it is used to attach a Cardo you already own.
🔴 3. For third-generation Shoei helmets — Neotec 3, GT-Air 3, J-Cruise 3 — you need code ADPA010004 instead: the two generations are not interchangeable.

It is a helmet and intercom accessory, not for the motorcycle. There are two constraints, both of which must be respected:

For those who have a second-generation Shoei and a Packtalk, and don't want the clamp that tightens on the edge of the shell. Will it fit my GT-Air 3?
No. This is for the second generation (GT-Air II). For the third generation, the Gen 3 adapter is needed: the slot on the shell is different. Write to us and we will send you the right one.
Does it include the intercom?
No: it's only the mounting adapter. It's used to attach a Packtalk you already own.
Is it suitable for my Freecom?
