The Kappa KN1162 is the specific tubular engine guard for Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin DCT (2016-2019), developed exclusively for the DCT gearbox version. Made of black painted tubular steel Ø 25 mm, it protects the lower part of the engine and exhaust in case of a fall or slide. Original Kappa Moto accessory (Givi group, equivalent to Givi TN1162).

• This engine guard is only for the Africa Twin DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission). If your bike has a manual transmission, you need code KN1144.

Is it suitable for my Africa Twin?
Yes, if it's a CRF1000L from 2016 to 2019 in the DCT version. For manual transmission, you need the KN1144.
How do I know if I have the DCT?
The DCT does not have a clutch lever on the handlebar or a gear pedal: it has +/− buttons on the left switch block.
Is it the same as the Givi TN1162?
Yes: Kappa and Givi are the same group, the TN1162 is the Givi equivalent of this engine guard.
Does it include mounting hardware?
Yes, the dedicated mounting hardware kit is included in the package.
Can I install it myself?
