The Cardo REP00112 booster pads are two cushions that are placed behind the intercom speakers, inside the helmet's ear recesses. They serve one purpose, but they solve it: bringing the speakers closer to the ears. In helmets with deep recesses, the distance causes a loss of volume and bass, and the only remedy is to turn up the volume until the voice distorts. With the pads, the speaker comes closer, the sound becomes full again, and there's no need to go to maximum volume. They cost very little and are often the difference between an intercom that seems poor and one that satisfies you. For advice on your helmet, contact us for more information.
⚠️ Important notes before ordering
- The package contains a pair of pads. It does not include speakers: they are an accessory to be combined with those you already have.
- They are needed if your helmet has deep recesses for the ears. If the speakers are already flush with the padding, there is no space to recover.
- Adding thickness reduces the space between the ear and the speaker: make sure you are still comfortable, especially on helmets with a tight fit. If in doubt, contact us for more information.
