The Cardo ADPA010004 adapter is the original Cardo accessory designed to mount a Packtalk Pro, Packtalk Edge, or Packtalk Neo intercom onto third-generation Shoei helmets: Neotec 3, GT-Air 3, and J-Cruise 3. It is the piece you need when you need to move your Packtalk to a Gen 3 Shoei helmet. For second-generation Shoei helmets, Cardo provides a different adapter, part number ACC00021.

How do I know if my Shoei is a third-generation model?
The model name tells you: Neotec 3, GT-Air 3, and J-Cruise 3 are the third-generation helmets for which Cardo designed this adapter. If your helmet says Neotec II, GT-Air II, or J-Cruise II, you need the ACC00021 adapter, which is intended for the second generation.
Which Cardo intercoms does it work with?
Cardo declares it compatible with the Packtalk Pro, Packtalk Edge, and Packtalk Neo. These are the three intercoms listed in the official data sheet for this adapter. If you own a different model, send us the code printed on the device and contact us for further information: we will verify it together before you order the part.
Is it suitable for the Packtalk Custom?
The Packtalk Custom does not appear on Cardo's official list for this adapter, which only cites the Packtalk Pro, Edge, and Neo. For second-generation Shoei helmets, the ACC00021 adapter does include the Custom. Before ordering for a Custom on a Gen 3 Shoei, please contact us for further information.
Can I use it on a Shoei Neotec II or GT-Air II?
No. This adapter is made for the third generation of Shoei helmets: Neotec 3, GT-Air 3, and J-Cruise 3. For Neotec II, GT-Air II, and J-Cruise II, Cardo provides the ACC00021 adapter, which is also available in our catalog. The two generations have different part numbers precisely to avoid confusion when ordering.
Is the intercom included in the box?
No. The ADPA010004 is just the adapter that allows you to mount your Cardo intercom onto a third-generation Shoei helmet. The intercom, speakers, and microphone are not included and must be owned separately.
