Compatibility

A helmet does not depend on the motorcycle or scooter model: the X36 is suitable for any vehicle. As a modular helmet, it is suitable for both city use, where it can be ridden open, and for touring.

Who is it perfect for?

It is for those who want a thermoplastic modular helmet for daily use and travel, with a sun visor and Pinlock already included, in the black/grey/fuchsia/light blue colorway. The backward-flipping chin guard leaves the face free when you stop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it be used open like a jet helmet?
Yes. The X36 Vertigo has P/J dual homologation according to ECE 22.06 standards: you can ride with the chin guard closed, like a full-face helmet, or with the chin guard flipped backward, like a jet helmet. On highways and long trips, it is recommended to keep it closed to ensure the chin is also protected.

Is the Pinlock lens included?
Yes. Givi states the anti-scratch visor is Pinlock-ready, and the Pinlock Max Vision lens is included in the packaging. It mounts inside the visor and reduces fogging in cold and rainy conditions. The spare lens code is Givi Z2833R.

What size should I choose?
Givi indicates for the X36: XS 54 cm, S 56, M 58, L 60, XL 61, and XXL 63. Measure your head circumference with a tailor's tape, one finger above your eyebrows, and choose the closest size. If you are between two sizes, write to us before ordering and we will help you.

Can a dark visor be installed?
Yes. Givi offers the 75% smoked visor Z2830FR for the X36, to be installed in place of the clear one on sunny days. Dark visors are for bright sunlight: in low light and at night, you must use the clear one, which is spare part Z2830TR.

How much does it weigh?
Givi states 1,750 or 1,840 grams depending on the shell size, with a tolerance of 50 grams. This is the weight of a thermoplastic modular helmet with an internal sun visor and dual homologation. The parcel we ship, including the helmet and box, weighs approximately 2.29 kg.

Are spare parts available?
Yes, the X36 is in the 2026 Givi catalog with its own spare parts: clear visor Z2830TR, smoked visor Z2830FR, sun visor Z2831FR, breath guard Z2832R, upper air intake Z2830N900R, side covers Z2833N900R, and liners from Z283054R to Z283063R. Before ordering, we will verify the correct code with you.
