Is a mounting kit absolutely necessary?
Yes, always, and it is not included in the price. The blade by itself has no mounting points on the motorcycle. The codes are A8702A Benelli, A781A Ducati, A1101A Honda, A448A Kawasaki, A7701A KTM, A170A Suzuki, and A221A Triumph. If you don't know which one you need, write to us with the brand, model, and year.

Can I buy it if I don't already have the kit installed?
For the Benelli BN 302 and Suzuki GSR 600, yes, because the A8702A and A170A kits can still be found. For Honda, KTM, and Kawasaki, the manufacturer no longer supplies new kits. For Ducati and Triumph, write to us first: we will check if the kit is still available.

Does it fit the Kawasaki ER-6f?
No. The manufacturer indicates it only for the ER-6n, the naked version. The ER-6f is faired and has a different front, so this windscreen is not intended for it: for that bike, a specific windshield is needed. Write to us with the year and we will provide the correct code.

What is the difference with the 247AK smoke?
It is the same blade, with the same dimensions of 29 x 28.5 cm: only the color changes, black here and smoke on the 247AK. The motorcycle list partially overlaps: for the Ducati Streetfighter, Kawasaki ER-6n, and Triumph Street Triple, the manufacturer's configurator only lists the black version.

What is the difference with the Givi 247N?
No technical difference: Kappa is a brand of the Givi S.p.A. group and the two items are the same black blade, with the same code. The brand on the packaging changes; the mounting kits indicated are the same. Compatibility follows the table above.
