Waist is measured at navel height, hips at the widest point of the pelvis, inseam between the groin and ankle bone. Macna specifies that when measurements yield different sizes, the larger size should be chosen. Macna publishes the short inseam from size 29 upwards (71 cm, compared to 76 cm for regular). The 28 Short version exists and we sell it, but for that size Macna does not publish the inseam measurement: we do not invent it.

Macna classifies them for hot weather and answers "yes" under the ventilation section of the technical sheet. It is not a perforated garment: breathability comes from the stretch cotton and the protectors, which Macna describes as "hollow-structured for breathability" (ventilated protection).

What is the difference with the men's version?
They are two distinct items with different codes: 165.4020 for women and 165.4018 for men, with different sizes (26-34 vs. 28-40) and a different cut.
