Frequently asked questions
Which helmet does it fit?
Airoh lists it for two jet helmets: the Helyos and the previous Helios. The code is the same for both, 05HEIN. It is not indicated for other models, as the shape and mounting of the sun visor vary from helmet to helmet. Check your helmet model before ordering: if in doubt, send us a photo of the label and we will confirm the code.
Is this the helmet's outer visor?
No. This is the sun visor, which Airoh sells as a separate spare part with its own code, distinct from the helmet's main outer visor. The outer main visor is not included: if you need to replace that, write us your helmet model and we will provide the correct code.
Can it be used on the road?
Airoh does not include homologation data in the technical sheet for this spare part, therefore we do not declare it. The dark smoke tint is designed for bright light: in the evening, in low light, or inside tunnels, the sun visor must be kept raised, and you should ride using only the clear outer visor.
What difference does the dark smoke tint make?
The dark smoke tint filters a high amount of light: it is designed for bright sunlight. Airoh sells each tint as a separate spare part with its own code: you can keep more than one and change them according to the season and light conditions, always remembering the manufacturer's instructions for road use.
Is this an original Airoh spare part?
Yes. It is the original Airoh spare part with code 05HEIN and EAN 8029243292814, from the Locatelli S.p.A. group catalog. Moon Bike S.r.l. is an authorized Airoh retailer: the visor arrives new and packed in its original packaging, with an invoice and 2-year warranty.
What is the crossed-out price?
It is the official Airoh list price, VAT included, for this code. Our selling price is lower because we align it with the Italian retail market, while always offering the original new spare part, shipped from Italy with an invoice and 2-year warranty.
