Cardo Packtalk Edge KTM Single Mesh Intercom – 15 riders, 1.6 km, IP67 – PT200020

The Cardo Packtalk Edge KTM is the official KTM livery version of Cardo's top-of-the-range model: same hardware as the Packtalk Edge, but with an orange Air Mount magnetic support featuring the KTM logo and KTM-branded packaging. Under the hood, it features second-generation DMC mesh network that connects up to 15 riders over a range of up to 1.6 km, Natural Voice commands, Sound by JBL, IP67 protection, and a three-year warranty. This is the single pack (code PT200020): one unit, for one helmet.

✓ Key Strengths

• Official KTM livery – Orange Air Mount with the KTM logo and KTM-branded packaging: this is the only difference from the standard Packtalk Edge, and it is exactly why you buy it.
• Second-generation DMC mesh network – easy grouping and automatic reconnection: if someone leaves the group and returns, the network reconnects itself.
• Up to 15 riders connected, with a maximum range of 1.6 km.
• Air Mount – patented magnetic support: the unit attaches and detaches from the helmet with one hand, even while wearing gloves.
• Natural Voice commands – just speak: the device takes care of the rest.
• Sound by JBL with 40 mm speakers* and three audio profiles*.
• IP67 waterproof protection – certified by Cardo: the highest grade in the entire range.
• 13 hours of talk time and fast charging: 20 minutes provide 2 hours of battery life, full charge in 1.5-2 hours.
• Integrated FM radio and 3-year warranty.

KTM Edition or standard Packtalk Edge?

We stock both versions. The table is short because there are few differences:

Same list price, same performance. The choice is purely a matter of taste: if your motorcycle is orange and your helmet is too, the KTM edition completes the look. Otherwise, get the standard version without a second thought. Contact us for further information if you would like advice.

Compatibility

The Cardo Packtalk Edge KTM is a universal accessory: despite the livery, it is not tied to KTM motorcycles nor to any specific model. It mounts on the helmet and is designed for full-face, modular, open-face, and off-road helmets. The DMC mesh network connects up to 15 compatible Cardo units; the Bluetooth intercom allows for connection with devices from other brands as well, and according to specialist retailers, the Packtalk Edge communicates with motorcycle TFT systems and navigators via Bluetooth.

Who is it perfect for?

It is for those who ride in groups and have a declared passion for orange. The substance is that of the Packtalk Edge — the mesh network that doesn't break when someone stops for gas, the magnetic Air Mount that detaches with two fingers, IP67 protection, and a three-year warranty — plus the official KTM livery, which looks great on an orange helmet or a Duke. It costs exactly the same as the standard version, so you are not paying extra for the aesthetics: you are choosing them. If, on the other hand, the livery doesn't appeal to you, get the standard Packtalk Edge and don't give it another thought; and if you travel in groups of four at most, check out the Freecom 4X and save some money. Frequently Asked Questions

What really changes compared to the normal Packtalk Edge?
The aesthetics. The unit is the same, black; the magnetic Air Mount is different, as it is orange with the KTM logo here, and the packaging is KTM-branded. Functions, performance, battery life, IP67 protection, and the 3-year warranty are identical, and the list price is the same.

Does it only work on KTM motorcycles?
No. It is a universal intercom: it mounts on the helmet and works with any motorcycle and any brand of helmet. The KTM livery is just a matter of style.

Does it connect to other Cardo devices, even non-KTM ones?
Yes. It is a Packtalk Edge in every respect: it joins the DMC mesh network with other compatible Cardo units, whether KTM or standard, and connects via Bluetooth with intercoms from other brands.

Can it be used in the rain?
Yes: it is IP67, protected against dust and temporary immersion, like the entire Packtalk Edge family. It is designed to stay on the helmet all year round; it is good practice to dry it off before charging.

How long does the battery last and how long does it take to charge?
The declared battery life is up to 13 hours of talk time. A full charge takes 1.5-2 hours, and fast charging provides 2 hours of talk time with 20 minutes of charging. For the first use, Cardo recommends charging the unit for at least 4 hours.
