Frequently Asked Questions
Which intercoms is it compatible with?
Cardo states it is compatible with Packtalk Black and Packtalk Bold: it is the Packtalk Bold/Black Half Helmet Kit. For Packtalk Pro and Packtalk Edge, Cardo provides the ACC00022 kit with integrated Air Mount. If you are unsure of your model, contact us for further information by indicating the code printed on your unit.
Are speakers included?
No. Cardo explicitly states this: the kit includes the cradle, the extra-long boom microphone, and all mounting hardware, but speakers are not included. You use the ones you already have. If you need speakers as well, contact us for more information and we will indicate the appropriate Cardo part number.
Which helmets can it be mounted on?
Cardo designates it for mounting the unit on half helmets, ski helmets, and other non-motorcycle helmets. The extra-long boom microphone is specifically designed for helmets without a chin bar, where a standard microphone would remain too far from the mouth and would not capture your voice well.
What is in the box?
According to Cardo, the kit includes a unit cradle, an extra-long boom microphone, and all the hardware needed for installation. The speakers and intercom unit are not included. It is designed to outfit an open helmet so you can move your existing Packtalk Bold or Black unit to it.
Is it suitable for the Packtalk Edge?
No. Cardo states this kit is compatible with Packtalk Black and Packtalk Bold. For the Packtalk Edge and Packtalk Pro, the open helmet kit indicated by Cardo is the ACC00022, which features an integrated Air Mount. When in doubt, send us your intercom model before ordering.
Is it an original Cardo accessory?
Yes. Part number SPPT0011 is an original Cardo Systems accessory, new, in original Cardo packaging marked "Original Cardo Accessory". Moon Bike S.r.l. ships from Italy with an invoice and 2-year warranty. For any questions regarding your intercom, please contact us for further information.
