Who it is perfect for

Frequently asked questions
Which intercoms are they compatible with?
Cardo declares that these 40 mm HD speakers are designed for all Packtalk and Freecom models. For intercoms from other ranges, compatibility is not indicated by Cardo in this data sheet: contact us for further information before ordering by providing your device model name, and we will verify it together.
Are they the Sound by JBL speakers?
No: these are the Cardo 40 mm HD speakers, which Cardo specifies for all Packtalk and Freecom models. The 45 mm Sound by JBL speakers have a different part number, the SPAU0010 set, which Cardo declares compatible with Packtalk Pro, Packtalk Edge, Packtalk Neo, Freecom 2X/4X, and Spirit/Spirit HD.
What is in the box?
The package contains the pair of 40 mm HD speakers, covered in foam and connected to a single cable with a jack connector. The microphone, helmet mounting bracket, and intercom are not included: you keep the ones you already have. For a complete kit, contact us for further information.
Are there two speakers or just one?
There are two: a pair of speakers, one for each side of the helmet, joined by a single cable ending in a jack connector, as shown in the official Cardo photos. If only one of your speakers has stopped working, this pair allows you to replace both and restore the same sound on both sides.
When is it worth replacing the speakers?
When a speaker no longer produces sound, crackles, or the cable is damaged, while the intercom itself still works. In these cases, replacing the pair of speakers costs much less than a new intercom. If you are not sure whether the problem is with the speakers, describe the symptom to us and we will give you our opinion.
Is this an original Cardo accessory?
Yes. The ACC00014 is an original Cardo Systems accessory, new, in Cardo packaging labeled "Original Cardo Accessory". Moon Bike S.r.l. ships it from Italy with an invoice and a 2-year warranty. For advice on the right replacement for your intercom, contact us for further information.
