Are Hevik rain suits really waterproof?
Yes. Hevik rain suits have taped seams and a waterproof membrane: they can withstand heavy rain for hours. For full waterproofing, it's important to securely close the cuffs and ankles with velcro/elastic and tuck the rain jacket over the collar of the motorcycle jacket (not inside).
Do Hevik jeans have CE protectors?
Hevik technical jeans have pockets for knee protectors; some versions include the protectors, others sell them separately. Always check the product specifications. If you buy jeans without protectors, order CE Level 1 or 2 protectors and insert them before riding: without protectors, the jeans offer no real protection in case of a fall.
Do Hevik Oberalp gloves really keep you warm in winter?
Yes, for typical Italian winters (0-10 °C). The Oberalp is the Hevik thermal glove with Thinsulate lining and a waterproof membrane: it keeps hands dry and at a comfortable temperature in moderate rain and cold. For -5 °C on the highway, it's better to supplement with heated grips on the motorcycle or electrically heated gloves.
