Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Which bikes does the BF19K fit?
Only on the BMW G 650 GS from 2011 to 2017. This is the only application indicated by the official Kappa accessories catalog: Tanklock flanges are specific to the fuel cap ring of that model.
Is the tank bag included?
No. The package contains the flange: the Tanklock bag is purchased separately and remains valid even if you change bikes in the future, as you only need to change the flange.
Is it also compatible with Givi bags?
Yes. TANKLOCK is the same system for Kappa and Givi, which are two brands of the same group: one brand's bags attach to the other's flange.
Do I need to drill or modify the tank?
No: the Tanklock flange mounts on the fuel tank cap ring and leaves free access to the cap for refueling. For bolts and assembly sequence, refer to the product's Kappa instruction sheet.
Is the BF19K still in production?
No. It was removed from the Kappa 2026 catalog and was already marked as available while stocks last in the previous catalog: those in stock are the last.
Is it an original product?
Yes, original Kappa flange, GIVI S.p.A. brand, manufactured in Italy. Moon Bike S.r.l. is an authorized reseller and ships from Italy.
