The Airoh Commander in the Matte Black colorway (code CM11) is an on/off integral adventure helmet, ECE 22.05 certified, featuring an HPC (High Performance Composite) fiber shell available in two outer shell sizes. The manufacturer specifies two configurations: with peak and visor for all-road use, or naked without the peak for asphalt — and the visor itself is removable. Extra-Wide visor with internal retractable sun visor, Pinlock lens included, and double-ring strap closure. Declared weight: 1,430 g (±50 g). Discontinued model: only S and XXL sizes remain available, while stocks last.

Who is it perfect for?
The Matte Black Commander is the perfect helmet for those who use the same bike for highway travel on Fridays and off-roading on Sundays: attach the peak and visor for a full-adventure setup, remove the peak to transform it into a clean-profile road helmet. The HPC composite fiber shell keeps the weight at 1,430 g, the sun visor handles glare, and the Pinlock lens is already in the box.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can it be used both on-road and off-road?
Yes, that is exactly why it exists. With the peak and visor attached, it is an all-road adventure helmet; removing the peak turns it into a road helmet, which is more streamlined in the wind at highway speeds. The Extra-Wide visor is also removable, making the helmet suitable for use with enduro goggles.
Is the Pinlock lens included?
Yes, the Pinlock anti-fog lens is already in the box and does not need to be purchased separately. It is the detail often missing in many helmets in this price range: in cold and rainy weather, it makes the difference between seeing the road and lifting your visor at every traffic light.
What is the shell made of, and how much does it weigh?
The shell is made of HPC composite fiber (High Performance Composite) and is produced in two different outer sizes so that the fit remains proportional across sizes. The manufacturer's declared weight is 1,430 grams with a tolerance of ±50 grams.
Can I install an intercom system?
Yes, the helmet is prepared for it: the inner liners feature dedicated housings for speakers, so you do not need to force them into place or remove padding. The intercom is not included and should be chosen separately among systems compatible with universal housings.
Which sizes are available, and how do I choose mine?
Only size S, which fits a head circumference of 55-56 cm, and size XXL, which fits 63 cm, remain. Measure your circumference just above the eyebrows at the widest point and compare it with the chart: if you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Is it still in production?
No, the Commander is a discontinued model; it has been replaced in the Airoh range by the Commander 2. The units listed are the final pieces available, new and boxed, which is why the price is significantly lower than the original list price.
