The F 750 and F 850 are already predisposed, with the plastic luggage rack on the tail, and this attachment is the piece that transforms it into a quick-release hook for the top case. It is also the most sensible solution if you already have a Kappa or Givi top case from another motorcycle: you install the attachment, put on the plate you already have, and you're ready. Those who carry a lot and have a metal luggage rack should look at the KRA5127 aluminum.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I have the right luggage rack? Look at the platform behind the passenger seat: if it's the plastic plate mounted as standard, the KR5129 is for you. If it's the metal one, you need the KRA5127. If in doubt, send us a photo of the tail and we'll tell you.

Can I mount my KM7 plate? Kappa does not list it among those provided for the KR5129. Before ordering, write to us: we'll check and tell you its status.

Is the plate included? No. With a MONOLOCK® top case, the plate is already included with the top case; with a MONOKEY®, it must be purchased separately (KM5, KM8A, KM8B, KM9A, or KM9B).

Does it fit the new F 800 GS? Yes, from 2024 to 2026 according to the Kappa portal. It's the same technical base as the F 850, so the attachment is the same.

What about the F 900 GS? It does not appear among the motorcycle blocks where Kappa lists this code. Write us the exact model and we will send you the correct reference.

How much weight can it hold? Kappa does not declare a maximum load for the KR5129, so we do not state it. The only one in the family with a declared capacity is the KRA5127 aluminum, at 6 kg.

Can I use a Givi top case? Yes. Kappa and Givi belong to the same group and share the MONOKEY® and MONOLOCK® systems: plates and top cases from both brands are interchangeable.
