Compatibility
A helmet does not depend on the motorcycle or scooter model: the X31 is suitable for any vehicle. As an open-face helmet, it is comfortable for city riding and short trips, and is quick to put on and take off.
Perfect for
It is for those who want an open-face thermoplastic helmet for daily use, with a sun visor and a Pinlock-ready visor, in the white/blue/red color scheme. Those who frequently ride on highways or take long trips are better protected with a full-face or modular helmet.

Frequently asked questions
What is its homologation?
The X31 Impact is ECE 22.06 approved as an open-face helmet: it protects the head and ear area but leaves the chin exposed. It is comfortable for city riding and short distances; for highway and long trips, a full-face or modular helmet is recommended, which also protects the face.
Is the Pinlock lens included?
No. Givi states the scratch-resistant visor is prepared for the Pinlock anti-fog lens, but the lens is not included in the package. The Givi code to order is Z2811R: it mounts inside the visor and reduces fogging on cold or rainy days.
What size should I choose?
For the X31, Givi indicates XS 54 cm, S 56, M 58, L 60, XL 61, and XXL 63. Measure your head circumference with a tape measure, one finger above your eyebrows, and choose the closest size. If you are between two sizes, contact us before ordering and we will assist you.
Can a dark visor be installed?
Yes. Givi offers the 75% smoked visor Z2815FR and the mirrored visors Z2815AR, Z2815IR, Z2815YR, Z2815GR, and Z2815BR for the X31. Dark visors are for strong sun: in low light or at night, the clear visor must be used, which is spare part Z2815TR.
How much does it weigh?
Givi declares 1,450 or 1,500 grams depending on the shell size, with a tolerance of 50 grams. This is the weight of a thermoplastic open-face helmet with an internal sun visor. The package we ship, including the helmet and box, weighs approximately 1.86 kg.
Are spare parts available?
Yes, the X31 is in the 2026 Givi catalog with its spare parts: clear visor Z2815TR, smoked visor Z2815FR, sun visor Z2816FR, visor mechanism kit Z2815R, and interiors from Z281554R to Z281563R. For air vents and the extractor, ask us for the code matching your specific color scheme. We will verify the correct code with you before processing your order.
