Shipping notice: truck drivers' strike in Italy

Does it have a sun visor?
Yes. The KV60 Basic has two visors: the outer one, which is clear and anti-scratch, and an internal smoked visor that acts as a sunshade. If the sun visor gets scratched or breaks, Kappa has it in the catalog as a spare part with code Z1795FR, 75% smoked and anti-scratch. The sun visor is operated with the lever on the left side, next to the visor pivot.
How much does it weigh?
Kappa declares 1,250 grams, with a tolerance of 50 grams more or less depending on the size. This is the weight of the helmet only. The package you receive weighs approximately 1.61 kg, because the 35 × 30 × 30 cm shipping box is added to the helmet.
How do I choose the size?
Measure the circumference of your head with a tailor's tape measure, passing above the eyebrows and across the most prominent part of the back of the head. Kappa indicates one value per size: XS 54 cm, S 55, M 57, L 59, XL 60, and XXL 61. We currently have S, M, L, and XXL in stock; the others can be ordered.
Can the interior be washed?
Yes. Kappa states the interior is removable and washable: it detaches from the shell, can be washed, and then reattached. If it wears out over the years, Kappa has a complete replacement interior in its catalog for every size, from XS to XXL, so you don't have to replace the helmet just because the padding has worn down.
