Shipping notice: truck drivers' strike in Italy
Updated 19/10/2026
Since 16 October, truck drivers protesting against high diesel prices have been blocking roads and ports in Southern Italy (Campania, Calabria, Sicily, Puglia, Basilicata), and the protest could spread to the rest of the country. The strike affects all our shipments, in Italy and abroad: Poste Italiane is currently not collecting parcels, while BRT and DHL are collecting as usual but deliveries may be delayed in some areas.
- Italy we ship with BRT and DHL · possible delivery delays
- European Union for now we ship with DHL only · possible delays
- Non-EU countries (customs) shipments temporarily suspended: they will leave as soon as Poste Italiane resumes collections
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

The MR Jet Me Contro Te is no longer among the models produced by Airoh. Whatever remains in stock is new, in its original packaging, and covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and that is all that is available. ⚠️ Even the dedicated spare parts (visor, cheek pads) are no longer in the catalog: this is something you should know before purchasing.

This listing is for size S, 55-56 cm.

⚠️ Important notes
• Do not buy a children's helmet "with room to grow." If it wobbles, it won't protect them: get the right size now and replace it when it becomes too tight.
• This is an open-face jet: it has no chin bar and does not protect the chin.
• Not suitable for intercoms: the shell is not designed to accommodate speakers.
• This listing is for size S (55-56 cm) only: if the measurement is different, this helmet is not the right choice for you.
• Discontinued model: the manufacturer no longer produces it and no longer lists the dedicated spare parts.
• The finish is glossy: clean with a soft cloth and water only; do not use solvents or abrasive sponges, as they will mark the graphics. Wash liners by hand with mild soap.
• A helmet that has suffered an impact must be replaced even if it appears undamaged on the outside. This is even more critical for children.

Who is it perfect for?
This is the helmet for any child who follows Me Contro Te and who, because of these graphics, will actually want to wear their helmet instead of running away. Parents of young children know this is half the battle: a helmet they like is worn without fuss, even for the five-minute drive to school. Beneath the graphics, it is a real MR Jet: 950 grams on the neck, a long visor that shields the face from the wind, an HRT shell, and washable liners. Size S (55-56 cm) is the largest in the children's range: head measurement, not age, determines the fit.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the size for a child?
Measure the head; don't guess by eye or age. Use a tailor's tape measure just above the eyebrows at the widest point and read the number in centimeters. This listing is for size S, 55-56 cm. The helmet should fit snugly all around without wobbling when the child shakes their head.
What are the graphics like?
The background is glossy white, with the official Me Contro Te multicolored graphics on the sides and back, and a rainbow on the shell. It is a helmet designed to appeal to kids: in person, the colors are vibrant and clearly visible even from a distance in traffic. Clean with water and a soft cloth.
How much does it weigh?
The manufacturer states 950 g with a tolerance of 50 g, so between 900 grams and one kilogram. This is the most important spec for a child's helmet: an extra three hundred grams is clearly felt on the neck after half an hour on the road. The shipping package, including the box, weighs 1.31 kg.
Can the liners be washed?
Yes: they are removable, washable, and hypoallergenic. They can be removed, hand-washed in lukewarm water with mild soap, and left to air dry. Never dry them on a radiator or in a tumble dryer. For a child's helmet, this is something you will do often.
Can I mount an intercom?
No: the MR Jet is not suitable for intercoms. The shell lacks housing for speakers, and a kit resting against the padding of a child's helmet would take up space exactly where it's needed for comfort. It is better to stop if you need to talk during the trip.
Is it new and original?
Yes. It is a new and original Airoh helmet, never worn, with sealed packaging and official manufacturer's warranty. ECE 22.05 approved. Moon Bike S.r.l. is an authorized Airoh dealer based in Cercola (Province of Naples) and ships from Italy with an invoice.
