Waist is measured at the navel, hips at the widest point of the pelvis; if you fall between two sizes, choose the larger one. Macna publishes short inseams from size 29 upwards: for our "28 Short", the measurement is not declared. Macna does not publish the long inseam measurement for women's jeans: "Long" sizes are longer than regular length, but the value in centimeters is not declared.

What color is this version of the Macna Aramon?
This is the Dark Blue colorway, code 165.4100.555: dark blue denim with fading on the thighs and knees. Each colorway is a separate listing, with its own item codes and barcodes, so the size you choose is always for the color you are viewing.

What is COVEC®?
It is the high-performance fabric from which the Aramon is made. Macna describes it as being composed of different types of fibers woven together in a single layer, to obtain a single material that is very resistant to cuts, tears, bursts, and abrasion. Also according to Macna, a single-layer jean is more breathable than one reinforced only in critical areas.

What does "Class AA" of the EN 17092 standard mean?
EN 17092 is the European standard for motorcycle protective clothing and includes five classes: AAA, AA, A, B, and C. AA is the second highest: only AAA for racing suits is higher. Macna declares Class AA approval for the Aramon.

Are the protectors included in the price?
Yes, both of them. Macna states that both knees and hips are equipped with level 1 R.I.S.C.™ FX protectors, which are flexible, thin, and breathable. The knee protector is height-adjustable. There is nothing to purchase separately.

Is the waist high?
Yes. Macna describes the Aramon's feminine cut as high-waisted. The photos show the two-button closure at the front.

Can it be machine washed?
Yes. Macna explicitly states this: thanks to the low "flex fatigue" of COVEC® yarn — the loss of strength after repeated bending — the jeans can be machine washed, and Macna claims they last almost twice as long as jeans made from other materials.

What is the Belt Loop™?
It is the feature on the back of the waist: Macna describes it as a faux belt to which a Macna jacket's Belt Loop™ attaches, to prevent the jacket from riding up while riding and, especially, in the event of an accident.

What size should I get?
Sizes follow denim numbering, which does not correspond to body waist measurements: measure yourself and compare with the table above, reported in centimeters and inches, and if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. "Short" sizes have an inseam shortened to 71 cm (28.0 in) instead of 76 cm (29.9 in); Macna does not publish the measurement for "Long" sizes.
