Why does it cost so little?
Because the ECE 22.05 certified X.21 Challenger is no longer in the 2026 Givi catalog and only size S remains, in the matte black, titanium, and white Globe graphic. The helmet is new and original, with dual P/J homologation, and ships from Italy with an invoice at a discounted price, much lower than the 199 euro list price.

Can I ride with the chin guard raised?
Yes. The X.21 Challenger has dual P/J homologation: it is certified both as a full-face helmet (with chin guard closed) and as a jet helmet (with chin guard raised). You can therefore legally ride in both positions, for example, closed out of town and open in traffic or on warmer days.

What size should I choose?
Measure your head circumference with a tailor's tape measure, one finger above the eyebrows. Size S of the X.21 Challenger corresponds to 56 centimeters and is the only size available. If you are between sizes, please write to us before ordering, and we will tell you if the fit is right for you.

Is the Pinlock lens included?
No. The clear scratch-resistant visor is prepared for the Pinlock 30 anti-fog lens, which must be purchased separately: the Givi code is Z2399R (Pinlock DKS166), which is still in the 2026 Givi visor catalog for the X.21. A breath guard and wind deflector are included in the box, which are useful on cold days.

Does it have a sun visor?
Yes. The X.21 Challenger comes standard with an internal retractable sun visor, controlled by a steel cable: you lower it when it is sunny and raise it when not needed, without removing the helmet. The replacement sun visor is still in the 2026 Givi price list under code Z2502FR.

Are spare parts still available?
Partially, yes. The helmet is discontinued, but the 2026 Givi price list still includes the complete Z250356WR interior for size S, the sun visor Z2502FR, the wind deflector Z2504R, the visor mechanism kit Z2495R, and the Pinlock lens Z2399R. For other components, please send us the code, and we will verify if it can still be ordered.
