Frequently Asked Questions

Does it fit my Shoei?
Only if it is a GT-Air 3, a Neotec 3, or a J-Cruise 3. Previous generations (GT-Air 2, Neotec 2, J-Cruise 2) have a different housing and are not compatible. If in doubt, write us the exact model printed under the shell and we will confirm it for you.

What's the difference with the twenty-euro Shoei adapter?
The adapter is only a mount: it is used to attach an existing Packtalk Edge, Neo, or Custom to a Shoei Gen 3 helmet. The Packtalk-S, on the other hand, is the complete intercom, designed to fit inside the helmet's housing. Two different products with different prices.

Does it connect to my companions' Packtalks?
Yes. The Packtalk-S uses the same second-generation DMC mesh network as Packtalk Edge, Neo, and Pro: they can group up to 15 together. Connection with intercoms from other brands is via Bluetooth.

Is the audio worse because it's integrated?
