Piaggio 928695 Left Upper Side Panel Grey 729 – Hexagon 125 and 150 (1994-1997)

The Piaggio 928695 upper left side panel is the original bodywork panel for the left side of the Piaggio Hexagon 125 and 150, already painted in Gray 729. In the Piaggio catalog, code 928695 is registered as «FIANCO SX» (Left Side) and cross-references to 9286955, in the «Upper side panels» diagram. It is a new old stock (NOS) item, discontinued by the manufacturer, available in a single unit.

✓ Key features

• Original Piaggio spare part – this is the same panel installed at the factory, OEM code 928695 / 9286955
• Standard Gray 729 – metallic dark gray, the third gray shade for the Hexagon alongside 708 and 726: ready to be installed as is (determined from product photographs)
• Intact tabs and mounting holes – the row of attachments along the lower edge is complete: these are the first things to break on used panels (determined from product photographs)
• Rare color – 729 is the least common of the three gray shades, making it the hardest to replace with a used part in the matching color
• New old stock (NOS) – never installed, no longer restockable from Piaggio

Technical specifications

Vehicle compatibility

Note on source: this compatibility is a reconstruction, as the code does not appear in the compatibility list of our parts department. The Hexagon 125 and 150 models are confirmed by two independent original Piaggio parts catalogs, both under the «Upper side panels» diagram; the years 1994-1997 are confirmed by three separate professional sellers for the same upper side panel. If you have any doubts about your chassis, contact us before ordering.

Other Hexagon side panels we have

• Gray 708 – complete pair: left (928567) and right (928667)
• Gray 726 – complete pair: left (928589) and right (928689)
• Red 892 – right only (928604)
• Green 112 – right only (928693)

Who it is perfect for

This is the part sought after by those restoring a first-series dark gray Hexagon 125 or 150. On these scooters, the upper side panels are the first to suffer: they crack at the attachment points when removing the bodywork for maintenance, and after thirty years, the metallic finish is almost always faded. Here, the paint is factory-original, never exposed to the sun, and the tabs are all intact. Gray 729 is the least common of the three Hexagon grays, so finding a new, perfectly matched one is a matter of luck: we have only one unit, and Piaggio no longer produces it.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the right or left side panel?
It is the left one. The Piaggio parts catalog registers code 928695 with the name «FIANCO SX», and the shape of the panel confirms it: it is the mirror image of the right panels, with the row of mounting tabs on the opposite side. If you need the right side, it is a different reference: contact us and we will let you know which one.

Which Hexagon does this fit?
The upper left side panel 928695 is designed for the first-series Piaggio Hexagon 125 and Piaggio Hexagon 150, approximately 1994-1997. It is not the panel for the Hexagon GT, GTX, LX, and LXT models, which instead use reference 5760045. If you are unsure of your version, send us your chassis number.

How do I know if my Hexagon is Gray 729?
The Hexagon left the factory with three very similar grays: 708 (blue-gray), 726 (neutral light silver), and 729 (dark gray). They are easily confused by eye. The color code is on the vehicle's identification plate; if you cannot find it, send us a photo of the scooter in natural light, and we will tell you which of the three it is.

Is it still orderable from Piaggio?
No. Both 928695 and 9286955 are discontinued by the manufacturer: they can no longer be restocked and are only available as residual stock. What you see here is actual stock in our warehouse, new and never installed, in a single unit.
