Official Macna size chart, "Mens Suits" section, fully reported and converted to inches; sizes with ✔ are those we sell in this color scheme — other Varshall 1pc color schemes may have a different range. Chest is measured at the widest point with arms at the sides, waist at navel height, hips at the widest point of the pelvis; inseam from crotch to ankle. Macna declares 80 cm inseam across the entire range and specifies that when different circumferences indicate different sizes, the largest measured size should be chosen.
• Back and chest protectors are not included: the suit is prepared for them, RISC™ protectors are purchased separately.
• The included protectors are level 1, not level 2: if you're looking for level 2 with external shells, check out the Macna Armadyl.
• Macna classifies the Varshall for a warm climate but states "no" for ventilation: it is not a ventilated summer suit.
• A motorcycle suit should be worn snugly: this is how the protectors stay in place.
• The size range varies by color scheme: check the size menu for this product page.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What color is this version of the Macna Varshall 1pc?
This is the Black/White/Orange color scheme, code 166.4210.132: black leather with white panels and orange inserts on shoulders, sides, knees, and legs. Each color scheme is a separate listing, with its own article codes and barcodes, so the size you choose is always for the color you are viewing.
Which protectors are included and which are not?
Macna declares Level 1 RISC™ impact protectors for knees, shoulders, and elbows as included. The RISC™ back protector and chest protector are listed as available separately: the suit is prepared for them, but does not include them.
What does "Class AA" of the EN 17092 standard mean?
EN 17092 is the European standard for motorcycle protective clothing and includes five classes: AAA, AA, A, B, and C. AA is the second highest. Macna declares Class AA approval for the Varshall 1pc. This is a characteristic of the garment, different from the level of the protectors.
What is the difference between it and the Macna Armadyl 1pc?
These are two different suits. The Armadyl has external hard shells and Level 2 protectors, plus hip protectors, and is made of perforated leather. The Varshall has no external shells and uses Level 1 protectors: it is simpler, more comfortable to wear, and less expensive.
What is the Aeroback™ hump for?
It is the aerodynamic hump on the back. On this suit, Macna indicates it has a hydration system port (Hydration Port), so you can carry a water bladder and route the tube. Among the safety features, Macna also lists the reflective hump.
What is the Floating Collar™?
It's the suit's collar: Macna describes it as being made of soft and comfortable neoprene, designed not to irritate the neck during hours in the saddle.
What are TPR Knee Grips™ and the Quick Access Puller™?
TPR Knee Grips™ are the rubber inserts on the knees that provide grip on the tank. The Quick Access Puller™ is the extended cord that allows quick access to the internal pocket without fully opening the suit.
Is it a ventilated suit?
Macna classifies it for a warm climate, but the ventilation section of the technical sheet states "no". However, among the materials, it lists perforated cowhide and 3D mesh, which can be seen in the photos on the sides and under the arms. We report this as Macna declares it, without adding anything.
What size should I get?
The suit should fit snugly: this is how the protectors stay in place. Measure your chest and waist on your torso, your hips at the widest point of your pelvis, and your inseam between your groin and ankle, with the tape measure snug over a light garment. Macna specifies that when different circumferences result in different sizes, the largest of the measured sizes should be chosen.
Is this an original Macna product?
Yes. Moon Bike S.r.l. is an authorized Macna retailer: this Varshall 1pc is an original, new, and unworn item, supplied with an invoice and legal warranty. We ship from Cercola, in the province of Naples, with packaging suitable for the garment.
