What is the Backonnect system?
Backonnect is the short zipper sewn on the back of the jeans' waist. It is used to attach the pants to a jacket with the same pre-fitting: Macna presents it as a system to prevent the jacket from riding up during an accident, leaving the lower back exposed.

What size should I get and what does "Short" mean?
Sizes follow denim numbering (28, 30, 32...), which does not correspond to your body waist measurement: measure yourself and compare with the table above, shown in centimeters and inches, and if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. "Short" sizes have the same waist and hip measurements but a shortened inseam: Macna declares 76 cm (29.9 in) instead of 81 cm (31.9 in).

The fabric is a stretch cotton denim composed of 90% cotton, 8% polyester, and 2% elastane. On the knees, hips, and seat, the denim is reinforced with aramid fiber, which resists abrasion much longer than cotton alone during slides.
