The Cardo Spirit HD is the superior-audio version of the Cardo entry-level range: 40mm HD speakers, built-in FM radio, and an intercom range of up to 600 meters between two riders. This is the Single pack (code SPRT0002): one unit, for one helmet. Compared to the "base" Spirit, you get better sound, range, battery life, and the radio — while staying in an accessible price bracket.
✓ Key Strengths
- 40mm HD speakers – a difference you can hear immediately compared to the 32mm speakers of the base Spirit: music and voice remain clear even on the highway.
- Built-in FM radio – listen to the radio without using your phone’s data and without having to pull it out of your pocket.
- Intercom up to 600 m between two riders: 200 meters more than the Spirit, which is noticeable on open roads.
- 13 hours of talk time – a full day of riding without needing to look for a power outlet.
- Fast charging – 20 minutes of charging provides 2 hours of battery life; full charge in 2 hours.
- IP65 certified – resistant to rain and dust, you can leave it on your helmet all year round.
- Over-the-air software updates with the free Cardo Connect app: no cables needed.
- 2-year warranty.

⚠️ Important notes — please read before ordering:
• This is the SINGLE pack: it contains only one unit. To enable rider-to-passenger communication or communication between two motorcycles, you need two units: a DUO pack is available that comes factory-paired. If you are unsure which one you need, contact us for more information.
• Spirit HD and "base" Spirit are not the same product. The base Spirit (SPRT0001) features 32mm speakers, 400m range, 10 hours of battery life, and does not have FM radio. Please check for code SPRT0002 if you are looking for the single HD version.
• The Spirit HD does not support mesh intercom mode: it is a two-way Bluetooth system designed for two people. If you frequently travel in large groups, check out our higher-end ranges — write to us and we will guide you.
• The Cardo Connect app is required for initial setup and software updates.
• The kit is designed for full-face, modular, open-face, and off-road helmets. If your helmet has a particularly complex shape and you have doubts about the mount, contact us for more information before ordering.

Compatibility
The Cardo Spirit HD is a universal accessory: it is not tied to any specific motorcycle or scooter model, but mounts onto the helmet. The kit is intended for full-face, modular, open-face, and off-road helmets. The intercom works between rider and passenger and between two motorcycles; according to specialized retailers, it also communicates with Bluetooth devices from other brands.
Who is it perfect for?
It is the choice for those who truly listen to music while riding, not just occasionally: the 40mm speakers change the way a helmet sounds at 130 km/h, and the FM radio is the convenience missing from all lower-tier intercoms. It is also great for those who clock up the kilometers and don't want to worry about battery life — thirteen hours cover a full day's ride — and for those who travel in pairs on open roads, where the 600-meter range helps prevent losing connection at every overtake. If, however, you only need an intercom for commuting and talking to a passenger in the city, the base Spirit does the job for less money.

Frequently Asked Questions
What really changes between the Spirit HD and the Spirit?
Four things, all stated by Cardo: 40mm HD speakers instead of 32mm, built-in FM radio (which the base Spirit lacks), 600 meters of range instead of 400, and 13 hours of battery life instead of 10. The number of connectable riders, IP65 certification, app support, and warranty are identical.
Is a single pack enough to talk to a passenger?
No. The Single pack contains only one unit, meaning it equips only one helmet. For rider-passenger or bike-to-bike communication, you need two units: you can purchase two Singles or the DUO pack, which comes factory-paired and saves you the hassle of the pairing procedure.
Does the FM radio work without a phone?
Yes. The FM radio is built into the unit: you can tune in to stations and listen without connecting your smartphone and without using data. This is one of the most significant differences compared to the base Spirit, which does not have a radio. Your phone can still be connected via Bluetooth for calls, music, and navigation.
Can it be used in the rain?
Yes. The Cardo Spirit HD is IP65 certified, meaning it is protected against dust and water jets. It is designed to stay on your helmet year-round. It is not, however, designed for submersion: avoid putting it in water and dry it off before charging.
Does it update and configure without cables?
Yes. The Cardo Spirit HD receives over-the-air software updates via the free Cardo Connect app for iOS and Android, which is also used for initial setup and managing radio, volumes, and pairings. The USB-C cable is only required for charging.
Do you ship throughout Italy?
