The Kappa KRA2101 is the anodized aluminum rear rack for MONOKEY® top cases, specifically designed for the Yamaha XT 1200 Z Super Ténéré and the ZE version. The acronym KRA stands for aluminum line: lighter than its steel equivalent and with a visible finish. It can only be mounted if the original luggage rack is present on the motorcycle.

- Original Yamaha luggage rack required: the KRA2101 can only be mounted if it is already present on the motorcycle. Verify before ordering.
- Can be used with original side cases, but to open them you need to remove the top case from the plate: this is a limitation declared by Kappa, not a mounting defect.

- Stop light kit for the top case is not provided, nor is the remote opening device.

Is the original luggage rack needed?
Yes. The KRA2101 attaches to the original Yamaha luggage rack: it cannot be mounted without it.
Can I keep the original side cases?
Yes, they are compatible. However, please note that to open them, you need to remove the top case from the plate.
Is it suitable for both the Z and ZE?
Yes. The Z is covered from 2010, the ZE from 2014, both up to 2020.
Can I install a stop light on the top case?
No. Kappa does not provide a stop light kit or remote opening for this rack.
What is the Givi equivalent?
The corresponding item in the Givi range is code SRA2101: same product, different brand. Pay attention to the acronym — the aluminum line is SRA, not SR.
