The Kappa KV35 Double Visor Basic Jet Helmet in Matte Titanium is a demi-jet helmet from the 2026 Kappa collection, approved ECE 22.06, the current regulation. It features a double visor – an anti-scratch outer visor plus a retractable smoked internal sun visor – an outer shell made in two sizes to prevent a small head from looking like it's wearing a bulky helmet, and through-flow ventilation with an upper air intake and a rear extractor. Removable and washable interiors, including cheek pads. It is the city helmet: lightweight, quick to put on, cool in summer. Matte titanium is a warm gray that doesn't show dirt like glossy black.

⚠️ Important notes – read before ordering
- Measure your head before ordering. Tailor's tape measure above the eyebrows, one finger above the ears, widest point of the back of the head: that number in centimeters is your size. XS 54 · S 55 · M 57 · L 59 · XL 60 · XXL 61.
- If you are between two sizes, take the smaller one: the interior settles a few millimeters with use. If the fit remains loose, the cheek pads can be changed to a different size without replacing the helmet.
- The helmet must not turn. With the strap fastened, when you move your head, the skin of your forehead should move with the helmet.
- It is a demi-jet, not a full-face: it does not have a chin guard and does not protect the chin in case of a frontal fall.
- ECE 22.06 is the mandatory approval for newly introduced helmets today. 22.05 remains valid for use but is no longer marketable as new.

Does it have an internal sun visor?
Yes. The KV35 has a double visor: an anti-scratch outer visor plus a retractable smoked internal sun visor, which disappears into the shell when not needed.
How is it ventilated?
With a through-flow: an openable and closable upper air intake lets air in at the forehead, and a rear extractor lets it out. In summer traffic, this makes the difference between keeping your helmet on and taking it off at traffic lights.
What does "double shell" mean?
It means that the outer shell is not a single size for all sizes: Kappa produces it in two sizes and matches them to the interior sizes. An XS is not an XXL with more padding inside — it's a smaller, lighter helmet with correct proportions.
Are the cheek pads removable?
Yes. Cheek pads and liner are removable and washable. They can also be replaced with cheek pads of a different thickness to tighten or loosen the fit without changing the helmet.
Is it a full-face or a modular helmet?
