Who is it perfect for?

In summer, you keep the Cordura AFT shell, which is mesh and allows air to pass through; when the sky clouds over, you attach the GORE-TEX liner, and if the rain gets serious, there are the GORE-TEX overpants, which Dane declares good for 800 consecutive kilometers in the rain. Is the GORE-TEX sewn in or removable?
It's removable. The Drakar is not a laminated garment: the base pants are made of Cordura AFT, a mesh fabric, and the GORE-TEX comes in two separate pieces included – a detachable liner worn inside and overpants that go on top. In summer, you leave both at home.
How much rain can it really withstand?
Dane declares that the GORE-TEX overpants can withstand up to eight hundred kilometers of continuous rain. This is the manufacturer's data, referring to the overpants and not just the Cordura shell, which is a mesh fabric and will get wet in the rain without the layers installed.
What protections are there, and at what level?
Knee protectors are included and CE level 2 certified according to EN 1621, which is the high level of the standard, not the minimum. For the hip, there is a provision but the protector must be purchased separately. The garment is EN 17092 Class A approved.
Do they connect to the jacket?
