Assembly and pairings
The titanium link pipe is welded to the silencer: it connects to the stock headers without any other components.
For the same range, Arrow offers the 71506PT in natural titanium, also homologated, and the two non-homologated racing versions 71006PT and 71006PTN "Dark". For track use, there are the racing headers 71718MI in stainless steel and 71768MI in titanium, which are not homologated.

Is the 71506PTN silencer homologated?
Yes. Arrow marks it ECE: the badge on the website refers to Reg. R92.01 (ECE-ONU) and the assembly diagrams show EURO5, EC ECE, and CARB. Keep the documentation found in the package.
What does "Dark" mean?
It is the dark finish of the titanium. Arrow states the body as "Dark titanium" and does not specify the type of treatment, so we do not indicate it. The rear end cap remains visible carbon.
What is the difference with the 71506PT?
Two things: the finish, Dark instead of natural titanium, and the link pipe, which is titanium here while on the 71506PT it is stainless steel. The weight increases from 1.95 to 2 kg. Dimensions and homologation are identical.
On which motorcycles does it fit?
On seven BMW applications: S 1000 RR 2019-2024 and 2025-2026, S 1000 R 2021-2024, M 1000 RR 2020-2024 and 2025-2026, M 1000 R 2023-2024 and the S 1000 R / M 1000 R 2025-2026 with double lambda probe.

What is the difference with the 71006PTN?
The 71006PTN is the same Dark silencer but in the non-homologated racing version, with a 60 mm outlet. The 71506PTN is the one that keeps the motorcycle street legal.
Do the probes need to be moved to the silencer?
No. Arrow states this silencer has no housing for the lambda probe and no housing for the CO probe: the probes remain on the original system.
