The Airoh Helios UP in Matte Black/Red (code HEUP35) is an urban jet helmet with an HRT (High Resistant Thermoplastic) shell made in three outer sizes and a stated weight of 1,250 g (±50 g), ECE 22.05 approved. It features a visor with a locking system that is UV and scratch resistant, and an internal retractable sun visor (Sun Screen Visor). Included in the box is the Custom Kit, which allows for use without the visor. It is Bluetooth-Ready, with removable and washable hypoallergenic interiors and a micrometric closure.

Size guide
The Helios uses seven sizes instead of the usual six: between the S and the L there are two intermediate steps, M Sport (MS, 57 cm) which is tighter, and M Confort (MC, 58 cm) which is more comfortable. For this colorway, XS and MS remain.

What approval does it have?
It is ECE 22.05 approved. The acronym is printed on the label sewn into the chin strap, along with the approval number and production batch: that is where it should be read, not on the box or the external sticker.
What is the difference between size MS and MC?
They are the two fits for the medium size. The MS, or M Sport, covers 57 centimeters and is the tightest; the MC, M Confort, covers 58 and is looser. For this colorway, we have the MS, along with the XS.
What is the Custom Kit included in the box?
It is the set of covers that Airoh puts in the box: it closes the side attachments and allows you to use the helmet without the long visor, for a modern classic look to pair with glasses or goggles. It is not an accessory to buy; it is already there.
Is the intercom included?
No. The helmet is Bluetooth-Ready, meaning the interiors already have housings for speakers and cable routing, but the communication system must be purchased separately. Before buying it, check the thickness of the speakers: very deep ones may cause discomfort to the ears.
Why does it cost so little compared to the retail price?
Because these are the last pieces of a discontinued series, and the price is for liquidation. The helmet is new, never worn, with sealed packaging and manufacturer's warranty: the only change is that it will not be restocked.
If I scratch the visor, can I still find it?
Yes. Airoh keeps the visor dedicated to the Helios series in the catalog, plus the replacement sun visor, side plates, and cheek pads. When you order them, specify Helios: the next generation, Helyos, uses different codes and they are not interchangeable.
