Di che materiale è e quanto pesa?

La calotta è in carbonio composito, che Airoh chiama Composite Carbon, e pesa 1.250 grammi, con tolleranza di ±50 g. Airoh la produce in due misure esterne: la prima per XS, S e M, la seconda per L e XL. Così il casco resta proporzionato alla testa anche nelle taglie piccole.

Che taglia devo scegliere?

Misura la circonferenza della testa un centimetro sopra le sopracciglia. Nella guida Airoh dell'Aviator Ace 2 la XS è 53-54 cm, la S 55-56, la M 57-58, la L 59-60 e la XL è 61 cm: la gamma si ferma lì. Se sei a cavallo fra due taglie, scrivici prima di ordinare.

Cosa c'è nella scatola?

Oltre al casco, Airoh mette in confezione le viti del frontino e il paranaso removibile. Il casco non ha visiera: va usato con una maschera da fuoristrada, che non è inclusa e si acquista a parte. La fodera interna si toglie e si lava.

Si può montare l'interfono?

Sì. L'Aviator Ace 2 è predisposto per gli interfoni Airoh AWC4 e AWC2, venduti separatamente e non inclusi nella confezione. È utile in fuoristrada di gruppo e nelle uscite in enduro, quando serve parlare con chi guida davanti o dietro senza fermarsi.

Che tecnologie di sicurezza ha?

Airoh dichiara le tecnologie ASN e AEFR. L'AEFR permette di sfilare rapidamente i guanciali in caso di emergenza, così i soccorritori possono togliere il casco con meno movimenti del collo. La chiusura è a doppio anello a D e la fodera interna è ipoallergenica.
